I mean it’s not really a good justification in my opinion but there are many people who voted institutionally instead of using their moral judgement or brains. Yeah, the fact that Trump wasn't immediately a deal breaker for 70 million people, even after 4 years of him, still speaks deeply concerning things about American democracy. And the fact that so many people split their tickets, still voting for the GOP that enabled him every step of the way in the House and Senate, even if they did pull for Biden, shows how so, so, so many people don't get that this problem isn'ts.
